Good morning all.
In two weekends I'll be attending the International Milk Haulers Association convention. It's in Calgary, Alberta this year and should be very scenic with the Rocky Mountains as the backdrop.
The agenda is focused towards discussion on all things milk hauling and in addition trade specific vendors will be present. Much of the vendor focus is obviously on the tanks we use everyday to move our milk. There are plans to have discussions regarding the Canadian Quality Milk program that's currently in place, the upcoming ELD mandate, electronic manifests, safety, milk sampling, plant processing strategies, and trailer suspension systems.
Reach out to me and let me know if there are questions you might have that I could ask for you. I'll plan on providing a summary of the event when I return the homeland.
On a personal note, our family went the local library last week to receive instruction on making ricotta cheese. We went home, made the cheese, and have been enjoying it since. It's incredibly easy to make, tastes really good, and definitely brings out the inner Wisconsin in you.
Take care and have a great Tuesday,
